The Square One Startup School was launched to shift the mindset of early-stage startup founders from the idea of needing venture capital to be successful to building a revenue-changed startup that can scale in the most equity efficient way possible. 

From bringing in successful bootstrapped founders as mentors to designing a customer-first curriculum focused on validation and traction; over the past 10-weeks we have helped 8 dynamic startups in our inaugural class validate their concepts, raise equity free capital, and gain their first paying customers.

  • Raised $7,500 in equity-free funding
  • Brought in $25k in revenue
  • 1 accepted into an accelerator

The Showcase 

Our mission is to provide first-time founders with equal access to information, resources, and opportunity to build the next profitable technology company regardless of their geographical location or socioeconomic background.

Due to COVID-19, we pivoted from being a hybrid program (50% virtual, 50% in-person) to being a 100% Virtual program which worked in our favor tremendously as we hosted our first Startup Showcase where attendees tuned in from 7 different countries, 4 different continents, and all 4 regions of the US! ????

As we celebrated the graduation of inaugural class for a one-of-a-kind virtual event we fostered connections between people from around the world all at the comfort of their own home.

What’s Next?

At the end of the Startup Showcase we announced that each founder will be accepted into WeWork Labs support program led by Joey Womack to continue their entrepreneurial journey.
