In the midst of one of the worst economic downturns the world has ever seen, small businesses are being forced to either pivot, persevere, or perish. However, true entrepreneurs know that perishing is not an option and in order to survive they need to come up with innovative solutions quickly, to overcome these unforeseen challenges.
Some of the most innovative / disruptive companies were born out of economic downtowns including Square, Pinterest, Uber, and AirBnB. As unemployment is at an all time high and recent college graduates are left bewildered about their next career opportunity, there will be more people who propel themselves into entrepreneurship for the first time… and we’ll be here ready to help.
New Format
We are excited to bring back a second cohort for the Square One Startup School, a 10-Week program designed to help first-time startup founders access the community, curriculum, and coaching needed to validate their ideas and unlock new scalable opportunities.
After graduating a solid inaugural class and shifting the program to be 100% virtual, we are now able to reach outside of our geographical location to meet founders where they are while tapping into our influential network of startup experts from around the world.

From The Bay to The A meet some of the new coaches joining us for Cohort 2:

New Partners
From coaches to community, we’re happy to announce our new partnership with HubSpot for Startups which will help us further our customer-first curriculum by providing tools and resources needed to help our founders acquire, manage, and retain their first paying customers.
New Resources
Yes, Square One is a fee-based program, however we don’t want to let price keep first-time founders from receiving valuable information that can help them grow their business.
So, after listening and getting feedback from our community, we have created budget friendly alternatives including a new podcast series called Back To The Basics and an Online Course for founders to learn at their own convenience on their own time.
Applications
Applications for our second cohort are now open and close on Friday, June 12th at 11:59pm.
