Every year there are thousands of startup founders who either submit applications to participate in accelerators and pitch competitions, or meet with hundreds of venture capitalists investors just to get told “your idea is simply too early.”
At Surthrive, we are firm believers in “inclusive innovation” and believe everyone with an idea should have equal access to information, resources, and opportunity to build the next successful technology company regardless of their geographical location or socioeconomic background.
We launched Square One Startup School to help pre-product and pre-revenue tech startups validate their ideas (aka make something people want), gain traction (aka save equity by gaining customers) and hurdle costly mistakes (aka saving money) to avoid falling victim of the “90% of startups fail” statistic and enter into the 10% of startups that excel statistic. ????

We are tracking one metric for founders and that’s simply the number of paying customers they acquire. ????
We have curated a diverse group of accelerator directors, angel investors, designers, developers, marketers, sales gurus and venture-backed & bootstrapped startup founders to join Square One to train the next generation of profitable technology startup founders! (Meet The Coaches)
Classes start Tuesday, February 25th! If you missed the deadline to apply, don’t worry, we got you! You can join the Square One community in the following three ways:
