Today, we are excited to announce that Stefanie Jewett will be joining the Square One Startup School team as our new Program Manager.

After a 5-year stint at CNN, Stefanie transitioned from journalism into the tech world by creating her first startup called Activvely, a wellness mobile app that helps people meet for better health and stronger friendships.

The Miami native’s passion and commitment to building intentional and impactful communities led her to create, SelfMade Sisters USA, a space where women of wild ambition could come together, collaborate and share resources to grow their businesses. Stefanie grew the SelfMade Sisters community to 4,000+ women that reached 3 different major cities across the US.

More recently, Stefanie’s was selected as a 2019 ChooseATL Influencer by the Metro Atlanta Chamber and graduated from the following startup programs: Atlanta Tech Village’s It Takes a Village Pre-Accelerator, City of Atlanta’s Women’s Entrepreneurship Initiative, and LaunchPad2x

Square One is built for Founders and managed by Founders so we are elated to have Stefanie join our team. We believe her background in community building, experience in building a startup, and passion for empowering underrepresented founders will be key to our program’s success!

If you are interested in becoming a community partner or coach for our 2021 Square One Startup School Cohorts, feel free to shoot Stefanie a note at stefanie@surthrive.co.
